Ongoing Reflections: How We Get Free

Studying and learning is part of justice work. Being well informed and educated on issues, theories and hi(stories) creates an awareness for other factors that contribute to our challenges and successes.
Black feminism has always been the answer. From my early dabbles into Alice Walker and bell hooks, it has felt right the way black women weave the world together into one story. By showing us how differently the world treats us (through painful stories and experiences), but also unveiling the well, oil machine that has been designed and maintained to keep us all feeling isolated and powerless.
